The Lokiriama Academy campus in Joska

About us

Rooted in faith. Growing in harmony.

A modern educational centre in Joska where children are known by name, taught with care, and given room to grow.

Our story

A school built around how children actually learn

Lokiriama Academy is a modern educational centre located in Joska, 2 km off Kangundo Road. We offer learning from pre-primary through junior secondary in line with Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum, and we run a Madrassah alongside the academic programme.

Our name and our motto carry the same idea. Lokiriama speaks of people coming together in agreement, and In harmony, small things growreminds us that the small, consistent things — a question asked, a page read, a project finished — are what turn a child into a capable young adult.

That belief shapes daily life here. Class sizes stay personal, teachers track each learner’s progress closely, and learning regularly moves out of the classroom into practical, hands-on work. Parents are treated as partners, not spectators.

Our mission

To nurture every learner in harmony — growing knowledge, character and faith — so that small beginnings become lifelong strength.

What we stand for

Four values that shape every school day

  • Faith & Character

Good conduct, honesty and respect are taught as carefully as any subject on the timetable.

  • Growth in Harmony

Every learner moves at their own pace, supported by teachers who know them by name.

  • Curiosity

Questions are welcome. Practical, hands-on learning turns curiosity into understanding.

  • Community

Parents, teachers and learners work as one team — because small things grow best together.
